Edward Scissorhands

Edward Scissorhands is another movie full of eye-candy by Tim Burton. The movie begins with the introduction of a strange little town where everything is very uniform and colored with a pastel motif. Then turning to the very different, dark mansion on the mountain, home of the star Edward Scissorhands(Johnny Depp), you will find quite the opposite. The plot and underlying theme begin when two opposites come together Peggy (Dianne Wiest) brings down Depp’s character from the mountain. It is at this point that it becomes apparent that the underlying theme is sociological and psychological trends.
