As I look out the window today, I see dozens of towering fir trees reaching for the sky, surrounding the few houses scattered in between. The houses are enclosed by old broken down fences, separating everyone’s individual territory. I see the neighbor in her garden pulling out the irritating weeds bothering the sublime exhibit of her roses and daffodils. I see cats basking in the sun, resting in the shade, and playing amongst one another around intricate, delicate webs, spun by the seasonal spiders, glistening in the sun. I hear the delightful songs sung by the birds, combined with the distant rumble of motor vehicles operated by people rushing to and from work and running errands.
