The relationship between teachers and students has changed drastically over time. Teachers seem to care less what their students believe and tend to just show up to work and just teach the subject but not try to interact with their students. This can not all be blamed on the teachers though. The public school system is just focused on teaching the students what they need to learn in order to get to college, but are not concerned with spiritual beliefs or moral issues. This by all means does not make the school system terrible; its just each system has their own feelings. The opposite happens with private schools or catholic or religious private schools. They don’t only focus on teaching the subject, they make sure their teachers are caring
