The painting “A Woman Leaning Near a Vase of Flowers” shows us a painting of a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a woman seated next to the table where they set. The woman seems too deep in thought as though she is either admiring the room in front of her as the head of household or from the sense she is of a servant type stature. When you look much closer at the woman you notice the rather dark color clothing, the covering of the hair, and the gloves laying beside her on the table you get the sense she is of the servant type stature.
