Reasons why slaves resisted in the Americas during slavery

Slavery to the Blacks was one of the cruellest things to ever exist. The white elite, the planters tried everything they could to keep the Blacks enslavement; however, this only gave them the fuel they need to resist plantation slavery. Some of the methods used by the planters, were those of physical, psychological, economical and social restraints to hold upon the slaves. However, the slaves resisted through active, day to day resistant methods Through laws, the planters had physical control over the slaves, as well as psychological, economical and social control.
