Jesus is a figure that is centered in religion. But his figure is also the center of a vast amount of controversy. His existence as a person is not disputed. He was born around 6bc and died around 30ad. He was put to death in some fashion although the cause of death is argued. The real question about Jesus is his divinity, or his relationship to God.
