I. Introduction
Electrophoresis is basically a technique of separation based on the movement of analytes through a conductive medium in response to an applied electrical field. In this particular experiment electrophoresis is used to record the migration of a sample when placed in an electrical field. The rate of migration usually depends on the molecular charge, molecular weight, the amount of power running through the electrodes and the net sign of the sample. The main purpose of this experiment is to find out the relation between all these elements of the sample and the experimental conditions.
