Planet of the Apes

In the film the Planet of the Apes, it was evident that the Ape community established their own society much like Man’s civilization and weighed against Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. Both the film and Plato’s Cave can be of comparison to each other. In the film it was apparent that the Apes had different positions within their community such as Chimps, Gorillas and the Orangutans. These three different species could be associated with Plato’s examples with the cave.
