There are three girls in my dorm. When we are sharing the impression of "The Catcher in the Rye". It is surprising that we have three different opinions. The first girl says the goddam book is addictive. It is just a collect of slang. What she has benefited most is that she can express her anger freely in English. The second opinion is how deeply Holden Caulfield is troubled. He isolates himself from the phony world. He is lonely being the one left by the public life. The third girl's comment is quite simple that "It is just about myself". She views Holden Caulfield as a true hero.
It is not often for a book to rouse three opinions at the same time , but it is quite natural if the book is ˇ°The Catcher in the Ryeˇ± because it is so excel
