This paper will discuss the different stages of sleep as well why sleep is important to us. It will also discuss dreams and what they mean or how you can manipulate or help control what you dream about.
This topic is important because it will help you understand how sleeping can help or hinder your everyday activities. Sleep disorders, which are interruptions of sleep, are very common and can be treated. Most of us don’t realize that sleep/wake patterns can greatly improve life expectancy and overall quality of life.
