Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia, with 1 in every 11 women developing cancer before the age of 75. Even though breast cancer has the leading number of cancer fatalities in women (16% of all cancer deaths) there are still some women out there who refuse to undergo a mammogram, they believe “if they don’t know what’s there, they don’t have to deal with it”.
