The joy of having a household pet can sometimes be indescribable, due to the relationship an owner forms with his or her pet. People know that pets can be great to have, but what kind of pet should you buy, a dog or a cat? Dogs are more common in America because of the way they bond with their owners, becoming a full-time member of the family. Although there are quite a few cat owners in this world, dogs are definitely the best way to go for many reasons. Dogs protect their owners, are compassionate, and are, in many ways, more useful than cats. The main difference between cats and dogs though, is that dogs become a family member and not just another animal which must be cared for daily.
