Frankenstein and his monster are the two main characters in Mary Shelly’s novel. While numerous similarities can be made between them, the monster seems to emerge as the more interesting of the two characters.
The monster starts his life in a much more unconventional way than f. being formed from numerous body parts, “collected bones from charnel houses,” and months of hard labour by f. Frankenstein’s birth was brought about in a much more normal manner; being the product of his wealthy parents.
