Fairness in the workplace is sort of a universal topic. It seems that everyone feels they have been treated unfairly at work in at least one instance in their working lives. Most people can recall a really evil supervisor who seemed to enjoy misusing their power, or an awful co-worker who slacked off on their work, but kissed up to the boss to gain favor.
In a perfect world, fair treatment in the workplace would mean equity all the way
around. In other words, everyone would be treated equally at all times. This is a really
good theory, but unfortunately it is not really attainable in practice because employees are
