Ph is a common scientific phrase used and discussed when discussing environmental topics. We wanted to see how sensitive Navy Bean (Phaseolus vulgaris var) is to the scale. We done this by putting the seeds into different ranges among the scale and recorded the results.
Introduction
One of the topics that many environmentalists discuss is acid rain. The reason this is so important especially in our home state of West Virginia is due to the sensitivity of plants to ph. The acid rain over a period of time can change the ph scale to the point where vegetation struggles to grow, thus disrupting the food chain and the very environment we depend on for life. The common theory and research tells us that plants are sensitive to the ph scale
