John Cage

On Monday, March 3, during a 2:00 class of History and Analysis of Media Arts II, I was struggling to stay awake. Its one thing when we are watching movies or having a discussion, but it is so easy to listen to music with closed eyes. It came time to listen to the music of John Cage. With my eyes closed, I waited for the music to start. I wasn't interested enough to check if something was wrong with the machine that was playing the music. I just assumed and waited. After about three minutes, I said in an attempt to be witty, "This is my favorite song", not knowing that I had the potential to be serious.
