Confucius was well known for his many philosophical writings and opinionated works. Although there is no book definitely written by Confucius, there are many works compiled by his disciples.
Few details are known about the life of Confucius. He was born in 551 BC. He grew up in Tsou, a small town located in the state of Lu in northeastern china.
