If we look back into history only 50 years ago we will notice a famous name, Adolph Hitler. This famous dictator was democratically elected, even though he was Fascist, which by belief would dismantle elections and Parliament in Canada. Hitler not only won the election with a clear majority, but also was well liked after he dismantled Parliament and all democratic procedures. In Canada today, it is very possible to have Jean Chretien dismantle government as long as he has two thirds of the houses consent which if his entire caucus votes for this, there is a dictatorship in Canada.
