Greek art takes up many pages in our textbook. People have suggested that this is because of the large amount of Greek artwork that has survived in comparison to other cultures of the time. The fact that Greek society was around for such a long time is another reason. When we view the website we find that there is another reason this artwork has survived: beauty.
