I had the pleasure of reading, “A child called it” for my book report. Instantly I got into the story and couldn’t put the book down. By the end of the first day I was done it. The book reminded me of my mother, and some of the treatments Dave Peltzer faced, I also faced from my mother. It was a tough book to read because of that, but also an encouraging one. It taught me stuff that I didn’t even know about my self, and because Dave got through it, than I have faith that I will be able as well. I’m sure that you have already read this book, so I won’t tell you the story because you already know it. So I’ll just go on to do my little speech.
The first visible symptom of maltreatment that I can pick out of the book is found on page 32
