My dissertation paper is going to focus on, How M. Night Shyamalan constructed the perfect psychological thriller/drama structure for the new millennium in The Sixth Sense (1999, USA). The American Heritage Dictionary defines the word psychological as ‘of, relating to, or arising from the mind or emotions’ and ‘influencing or intended to influence the mind or emotions’.
