The tragic events that happened on Tuesday, September 11, 2001 were sad. Yet I believe that there was a definite reason they happened. Our freedom, our sense of security and our unity was tested last Tuesday. These events that occurred in New York City and Washington D.C. made many Americans realize how much we have taken for granted our freedoms, and how in many ways our freedoms have slipped away because of America’s carelessness.
