A telescope is a device used to make distant objects appear closer than they are. There are many types of telescopes, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Telescopes come in all shapes and sizes. They range from $1 toys, to the Hubble space telescope which weighs more than 8 tons. Telescopes have become quite precise and powerful tools.
