Panel: Lewiston police harassed officer

The panel consisting of five members sided with former Lewiston police officer, John Parkinm on sexual harassment charges. Parkin claimed that members of the LPD “teased” him daily because he dyed his hair and went tanning. Also included in the group of “bullies” was police cheif William Welch. Welch denies any alligations of this harassment.
Although Parkin has won the backing of the panel, he feels that he still lost. “Win or lose, ultimately I’ve lost,” he claimed. “I mean I’ve lost my career. There is absolutly nothing positive that is going to come out of this.”
