George Washington

On April 30, 1789, George Washington was elected as our first president of the United States of America. Being our first president, George was one of the greatest and most memorable, still to this day. He was a great leader and a great idol for centuries to come. George Washington was born in Westmoreland, Virginia on February 11, 1731. His father’s name was Augustine Washington and his mother’s name was Mary Ball.
