The American Dream is the basis of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. This means that a person should have a good life with a good job, and have a loving family. That person should feel safe where ever they may be. Also, that person should be able to do what ever makes them happy, none of this is possible with out good old fashioned hard work. Nothing in life is ever handed to a person. They must work hard and strive to accomplish what they want.
