The dance performance “Faces of Love” is an innovative dance exhibition performed by some of the top amateur and professional ballroom dancers in the country. Created by world champion dance exhibitionist Tom Slater, the work incorporated various forms of ballroom, modern, jazz, and tap dance, as well as ballet. The performance sported music from around the world, as well as a live three-piece band that included a bass cello, guitar and accordion. The choreographer sought to tell the story of different kinds of love through the various dances. Set in the Jazz era of the 1920s and 30s, the work was one of the finest dance performances I have ever seen.
