For the first fourteen years of my life I was a meat-eater, and I lived my life, quietly conforming to what society accepts as normal. Now, as a vegetarian, I am officially a non-conformist because I choose to not eat anything that needed to give its life to feed humans. About that, I have only one thing to say: I’m proud of it!
Simply put, vegetarianism is the belief that eating meat is a rather unpleasant activity, particularly for the meat being eaten, and this should be avoided if at all possible. Vegetarians give many reasons for this. Some say it’s more healthy then eating meat, and point to numerous studies backing environmental reasons.
