Some people call Macbeth one of Shakespeare's great tradgedies. And they would be right. Some people say Macbeth's fatal floor was his ambition. And they would be right there too.
But some people say that what happened was all Macbeth's fault. And they would be wrong.
Macbeth is all about the rise to fame and glory, being a person who everyone wanted to meet,
to touch, to talk to, and how easily it can all be taken away by just a little too much greed.
The Captain is telling Duncan and his sons about Macbeth in battle:
"For brave Macbeth-well he deserves thet name-
Disdaining Fortune, with his brandished steel
Which smoked with bloody execution,
Like Valour's minion carved out his passage
Till he faced the sla
