On April 20, 1999, students of Columbine High School fire upon fellow students and teachers. After the shooting conceded twelve classmates and a teacher were left dead. Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold committed suicide after this slaughter and fourteen other students lay wounded. I ask myself: Could this have been avoided? Yes, it could have, but not through the ways of taking away the Second Amendment of the constitution: The right to bear arms. The way it could have been avoided was by the parents, teachers, and whoever else had contact with these boys would have showed them attention and been apart in what was happening in their lives and at school.
