The Industrial Revolution, which began in the 1780’s, was a time of inhumane exploitation and misery for some people and a time of bursting creativity and material production for others. The lower classes were the ones who would perceive the Industrial Revolution as a time of horror and misery. For the upper classes it was a time of gaining money and doing less work because the working class was doing all the labor.
