In today’s society, overweight people, especially women are discriminated because of their size. Regardless of their job skills or their experience. In a world where there are mostly men in positions of authority it is very clear that thin women will more than likely get a job before an overweight woman would. What does this say about today’s society? Or even past generations alike? I don’t think time has changed the way people have always dealt with the treatment of the overweight. Why don’t these employers realize what kind of impact their rejections have on overweight people who are struggling with weight and trying to get a job?
