This company took over all operations for manufacturing Datsuns automobiles from the automotive division of Tobata Casting Co., Ltd., Not only was the company becoming a new and more powerful company in the automotive world, but also the name was changed to Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. on June 1, 1934. The founder was Yoshisuke Aikawa, the brilliant leader of the Nissan combine. The first Datsun passenger car ever to be rolled off the assembly line was at the Yokohama Plant in April 1935.
