You Know You Love Me is a story about a 17 year-old girl named Blair and all of her friends who live in New York City’s elite Upper East Side. Besides the fact that Blair lives in a different atmosphere than most teenage girls, she still goes through the same problems any other teenager would go through. There are three central conflicts in You Know You Love Me. They are all problems, which plague a typical teenage girl, who happens to be in an atypical setting. Specifically, the conflict centers around Blair’s relationships with her boyfriend, best friend, and parents.
