1) The early modern’s view’s on the nature of children first starts off with a person with the name of Michel de Montaine. Montaine discussed how to raise children. He stated that he would first try to make a good relationship with children. He also believed that there are two kinds of children. Some children are good and some are bad, but he stated that parents have to treat their children openly with out any violence. The Puritans also had a view on children. They stated that children are born with sin. They also believed that you had to be strict and sharply reprove the children for having inappropriate behavior or doing bad things.
