Banjamin Franklin was born in the port town of Boston, Massachusetts on the seventeenth day of January. At the age of 12 Benjamin became an apprentice to his brother James in the printing profession. After 5 years of working with his brother, he runs away from his family to move to London and continue his skills in printing. At the age of 22, Ben opens his very own printing office in Philadelphia and begins printing his very own paper entitled Pennsylvania Gazette.
