Poor Lil Emily

Everyone has probably heard of the poet Emily Dickinson, but maybe you do not know all the small details. Yeah, sure we have all heard of her, but do you know the about her poems’ meanings, do you know the story behind the name?
First off, let me tell you about her family. Emily was born on December 10, 1830. Her mother’s name was Emily Norcross Dickinson, and her father’s name was Edward Dickinson. She had an older brother named Austin and a younger sister name Lavina. Her grandfather was Samuel Fowler Dickinson. Samuel Fowler Dickinson founded a school called Amherst Academy.
Emily attended this academy at the age of eight along with her sister Lavina. This school was a very good Christian school and Emily was thought to be very lucky
