In a series of lines an author could be trying to present somethiing from several different angles. Six lines or more and something drastic is being said or the character is possibly outraged. In mostaspects this is the case the character is extremely angry or is just babbling on about nothing. In, Julius ceasar, written by William Shakespeare, constantly throughout the play there are periods of commentary that exceed six lines. That simple fact in general means that the public is in question and close to some form of rage. In this case that is most definitely true, the senators are angry with the main character Julius Ceasar, which is the cause for all the talk.
