Biblical Theology of Work

Like many other people today I used to think that work was a negative thing that must be done just because it is the only way to survive in today’s society. I thought that work was a result of the man’s sin, and I thought that part of the curse on man was that God made man work. The purpose of this paper is to discuss work and come to a biblical conclusion about working today. This paper will deal with how and why work originated, God’s outlook on types of work, sin’s affect on work, and the attitude a Christian should have toward work.
