Power is said to be a man’s greatest desire, he’ll do whatever its takes to achieve his goal even to kill. Ambition plays a big part to trigger one’s mind into accomplishing that goal. One step before becoming king, Macbeth tore by his decision to commit treason, on behalf of his great ambition to become king of Scotland. Macbeth realized that there were many consequences if he kills the king, therefore, he decided not to act on his plans. This decision, prove himself to be very indecisive and cowardly person. Macbeth is tormented by his conscience of right or wrong, in killing his close companionship to achieve his goal.
