Passion and intimacy are expressed through friendship and sacrifice. As well as a snowball fight. The Beast feels something he's "never felt before," and Belle decides that her feelings in the entire day and a half that she knew him are more than friendly. Disney can only present love in friendship. There is nothing sexual about their relationship, nor implied, because the movie is G rated, and the whole beastiality thing would get in the way. If Belle thought she felt like an outsider normally, her having sex with a wolf man wouldn't help. So, without the complications of sex, or a silly little thing like time (Did I mention the movie takes place over three or four days?), Belle is free to cast her friendly love wherever she chooses.
