In 1999, former President Bill Clinton and his administration delivered their harshest attack on the entertainment industry by calling for movie theaters to require photo identification of teenagers to view "R" rated movies. The plan was to go hand-in-hand with the movie censorship ratings in order to reduce "...children being fed a daily dose of violence" Clinton also demanded the entertainment industry to enforce its rating codes more strictly. Three years later, despite the September 11th attacks, violence and nudity have been injected into movies that apparently person(s) in charge of movie ratings have irresponsibly passed off as suitable for America's youth.
