Reformers in Pop Music
|
In the early 60’s, there was the Beatle’s and Beach Boys driving every American girl crazy. The other part of the 60’s, Jimi Hendrix ruled the hippie culture. The 70’s, it was Aerosmith creating the original rock band. The 80’s, Madonna invaded the scene creating a new platform for women performers and Michael Jackson with his innovation “Moon Walk”. And in the 90’s, it was Seattle grunge groups like Nirvana and the beginning of the boy band era that seemed to surprise everyone with their new approach to music. These artists seem like they have nothing in common but all were considered “Pop Stars” at one time or another.
Pop Music doesn’t have specific time frame were it originated but it is a general term used to define the trendy music
