Sarafina
Sarafina was a great movie in the way it proved its points. Sarafina was portrayed a perfect image about how the blacks were separated by the whites, and the abuse that was experienced. It showed us how the blacks had to learn everything in the white man’s perspective. Sarafina showed just how unjust Apartheid really was. For instance, police would shoot or jail random school kids for no reason at all. While in jail the children would be beaten or tortured until they gave out information. However the jailing of the teacher Mary Masembuko moves the story forward as the children rebel against the Apartheid rule. The movie played an excellent role in proving how bad Apartheid really was.
