I watched "O". It's a movie that takes the story of Othello and adapts it to a modern day privte high school. Odin James is the best basketball player in school. He's got the prettiest girlfriend, the love and respect of his peers and all of the attention of his basketball coach. This doesn't sit well with Hugo, the coach's son who is jealous of Odin. He decides to take Odin down -- with tragic results.
This is a pretty good movie. The acting is first rate, with the notable exception of Martin Sheen as the coach. The guy is a cliche at every turn. He pushes the team to exhaustion, belittles his son in front of the team, heaps favor on his favorite players, and turns a blind eye when the boys break the rules. He seems to only want one thin
