Women's Issues and Women's Representation In Government

If we look at the last century in Canadian politics, we would notice that there has been very little representation by women either in the provincial of federal governments. It can be said that our society has been run by a patriarchal type system of government in which one’s gender (male) is the predetermined factor within the compounds of the national or regional governments.
