Injustice for All
|
Acceptance of different culture’s and lifestyles has always been a problem with society, but it was just recently that we let our justice system get caught up in the scapegoat of stereotyping. When I think of some of the greatest injustices in American history, I think of three trials: The Salem witch trials, the arrest of Leonard Paltiere, and the O.J. Simpson trial. But, the worst case that comes to mind is the West Memphis three case. Though I can’t 100 percent side with the three accused in the murders, I strongly question their guilt, and the methods used in their convictions.
