The way one parent approaches child rearing maybe different from someone else’s. The parenting style a parent uses will ultimately affect the way a child behaves. There are different categories of parenting styles in which a person maybe fall under. The different styles of parenting are Authoritarian style, Authoritative Parenting, Indulgent-permissive parenting, and Indifferent-uninvolved parenting. My parents were Authoritative and they were easy to talk to about things that mattered in life. I am an Authoritative parent; my kids know that I am there for them no matter what.
