I think in this poem is talking about this guy who is really happy, so happy that he is unhappy. In the beginning of the poem I think he is drunk and high and he is saying that he is getting wasted because he is so unhappy. I think this because he says, "My heart aches, and drowsy numbness pains" When he says "Tis not through envy of thy happy lot, But being too happy in thine lot" I think he is saying that its not that he is jealous of anyone elses happiness, its just that he is too happy. And when he says, "Of beechen green, and shadows numberless, Singest of summer in full throated ease." I think what beechen green is the weed he is smoking and shadows numberless is the smoke and full throated ease means that
