In Emily Dickinson “Because I Could Not Stop for Death” focuses of life after death. Instead of being sad about death, Emily Dickinson describes death as being inevitable change, rather than an end to existence. She personifies death as a gentlemen who kindly stops to take her in a carriage for a romantic journey. In this poem, there is much impression in the tone, in symbols, and the use of imagery.
